"My son loves Kelley. When he is with her he thinks that he is playing rather than working. She is so wonderful with him and I truly believed that she saved his life. Before we met Kelley, my son would only eat crackers. We had lost hope when we were told from other professionals that "there's nothing that I can do", "he's the worst I've seen", and "I just can't help him." Now, he eats almost like a typical 4 year old boy. What a blessing! I just know that he would have been put on a feeding tube had it not been for her and her love of a challenge." |

"Our son is doing REALLY well. I feel he has been learning so much and the program is really excellent for him. An example: a little boy who is 6 months older than him spent the evening with us about 5 months ago and there was a huge discrepancy in their speaking ability (both quantity and quality). We just had him over again last week and I could barely tell the difference between the two boys speaking! Our son is closing the gap! That is the most exciting thing for me...not only is he learning stuff, but he is learning stuff quickly enough to catch up with his peers." |

Before and After Videos
Please follow the links below to view video footage of a child with autism before, during, and after an intensive ABA program:
Before-February 2005
This video was taken due to concerns his family had regarding his lack of language skills and his repetitive behaviors. The family was referred to Behavioral Consulting shortly after this video was taken.
During-May 2005
In this video, the child is only able to imitate a few sounds, which were taught in his first month of therapy. He can not follow simple directions, imitate words/actions, and has difficulty attending to instruction.
During-December 2005
After 6 months of therapy, the child can now readily imitate words/actions, can follow simple directions, can sort items by color, can label items, and can answer simple "wh" questions.
After-March 2009
Currently, the child is able to sit appropriately during intensive teaching, attend to task, answer and ask "wh" questions, follow directions, and is a very happy and social little boy.
