Behavior Therapist

Amber Harper received a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with an ESOL (English as a second observed language) endorsement in May of 2008 from the University of South Florida.  Although she has had a desire to work with children with special needs since a very young age, she began her work in the field in 2001 as a preschool teacher working with both typical and special needs children.  Between 2001 and 2009, Mrs. Harper has had varying experience with young children including internships as a teacher assistant for Pasco county schools and working as a VPK teacher preparing students to enter kindergarten.  Mrs. Harper is Florida Teacher Certificate eligible and plans to further her education in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis by taking courses to sit for the BCABA exam.
