Behavioral Consulting of Tampa Bay is a local organization with offices in both Hillsborough and Pasco counties that is committed to assisting children using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy. Our therapists provide quality behavioral services for children from birth to 18 years of age with autism and related disorders as well as children engaging in problem behaviors.

The trained Behavior Analysts at Behavioral Consulting of Tampa Bay have aided the development of more than 200 children diagnosed with both Autism Spectrum Disorder and other problem behaviors utilizing ABA Therapy. Our typical client referrals include individuals with:

Assessments

• Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills-Revised (ABLLS-R): Measures learning skills, academic skills, self-help skills, fine motor/gross motor skills and peer/social skills.
• Functional Assessment Interview: Provides in-depth information regarding problem behaviors identified at home, school or in the community.
  

Behavioral Interventions

• 1:1 Verbal Behavior Program to teach skills measured in the ABLLS-R assessment.
• Development of behavioral recommendations paired with parent/school staff training to improve behavior.
• 1:1 Compliance training to improve behavior such as waiting, flexibility, transitioning and accepting “no.”
