Autism is the fastest-growing developmental disability and affects one in every 110 children. This year, more children will be diagnosed with autism than with cancer, diabetes, Down syndrome and AIDS combined. Autism impacts entire families including siblings, parents, grandparents as well as many others outside the family unit.

Statistics show the family of a child with autism will spend between three and five million dollars over the course of the child’s lifetime, however, with early diagnosis and intervention, the cost of that lifelong care can be reduced by two-thirds.
